Why we work the way we do

Most remodeling problems start where nobody looks: a shower with no membrane behind the tile, a floor laid over a subfloor that was never flattened, paint rolled over a wall that was never patched. They look fine on the last day and fail a few years later.

We would rather show you the layers. That is why we photograph our showers before the tile goes on, and why the estimate spells out the preparation as well as the finish.

The other half is how it feels to have us in your house: floors and rooms protected, the work area sealed off, a clean site at the end of each day, and one person who always knows what happens next.
