Our process
How a remodel runs, from first call to final walk-through
Seven stages, what we do at each, and the part that is yours. Most of what makes a remodel go smoothly is settled before the first wall comes down.
Call or send the form
Tell us about the room. We ask a few questions and book a time to come out.
Your part: A few photos of the room help us come prepared.Free in-home visit
We measure, look for anything that affects the job (water damage, uneven floors, old wiring) and talk through options at different levels of finish.
Your part: Share what you like and what you do not; screenshots and samples are welcome.Written, itemized estimate
Labor, materials, preparation and a schedule, line by line. Nothing is hidden in an allowance you did not choose.
Your part: Review it, ask questions, and sign off on selections before work starts.Selections and ordering
Tile, fixtures, flooring, colors and cabinetry are confirmed and ordered so the job does not stall waiting on materials.
Your part: Make the final picks; we flag anything with a long lead time.Protection and demolition
Floors and paths covered, the work area sealed off, then everything that is coming out comes out.
Your part: Clear the room of personal items and let us know about pets. The build
Rough-in, waterproofing, subfloor prep, tile, install and paint, in the right order. The site is cleaned every day.
Your part: We update you as each stage finishes. If something behind a wall changes the plan, you hear it first, with options.Walk-through and finish
We walk the finished room with you and complete anything that is not right. Then we clean up and hand it back.
Your part: Take your time on the walk-through; this is the moment to point things out.
